Recorded on January 7th, 2008, at Peace Church of the Brethren, in Portland, OR, with a Zoom H4 Digital Recorder. Edited with Audacity music software.
Each entry is a live recording of me attempting to shorten the distance between my brain and the hammers of the piano.

Define exotic. If you feel like it. Or state what may influence your sense of the term. (if you feel like it.)
I think the use of the Mixolydian mode (a major scale with a flat seventh degree) here sounds slightly exotic, made more so by the order of the notes. The downward roll is unusual. The first three notes are the seventh, the fourth, and the third, which means that in the first three notes you have a tri-tone and a minor second. Those are the reasons I called it "exotic."
